How can I help support the efforts of WhiteTail Solutions?
A "Products Page & Shop Online Pages" have been established, which contains various items for purchase, we offer advertising here on our site and proven deterrent products that will help offset the costs of our "free" efforts to assist in managing the deer population. Thank you for your support.
What do you do with all of the deer that you harvest?
95% of all the deer that we harvest are donated to various local organizations / soup kitchens.
How do we determine if our land is suitable for hunting?
This is determined on a case by case basis. We prefer land that has wooded edges, but it would be best to contact us to set up a property evaluation appointment where we could review the property with you.
Do we need to get our neighbors involved?
It is highly recommended to contact your neighbors to let them know that we will be hunting on your property and ask them for permission to retrieve a deer that may have crossed on to their property.
What time and day of the week would you be hunting?
Archery Hunting season is from September 15th through the end of January of the following year. Sunday hunting is currently not allowed in CT. Typically, we would enter the property 30 minutes before sunrise to 9AM or 3PM to sunset. Times and days of the week can be organized with the land owners preference.
What are your methods to success?
We are archery hunters, which require us to be very close to the game we pursue; therefore we take special care of our scent by wearing scent controlled suits. We use top of the line equipment and hunt from elevated tree stands either fixed to the tree or climbing stands. (Fixed or Climbing tree stands do not harm the trees) All of our shots are within 25 yards or closer and are projected straight down.
