According to the USDA, 17 million households or 14.6% were food insecure and
families had difficulty putting enough food on the table at times during the year in
2008.

According to the CT Food Bank, more than 390,000 Connecticut residents are
struggling today with hunger.

Hunt To Feed is a program designed to raise funds to allow any Connecticut
State Hunter the ability to donate their harvest to help feed those in need.
